Dutch Ford Farm Overview

An event venue full of beauty, and rich in South Georgia history. Within the sweeping panorama of the South Georgia farmland, Dutch Ford Farm Wedding and Event Venue began as a farm originating from a land grant, circa the Civil War. The antebellum plantation home was the first building on the property, built around 1860. The Antebellum Plantation House has ample inside and outside entertaining spaces, full kitchen and laundry, pool room for entertaining wedding party as well as ample additional seating spaces. This addition to our venue can be a great accommodation for wedding parties, retreats, luncheons, showers and many more possibilities. The Bridal House was the original store building on the farm which has been relocated and renovated for the bride and her bridal party. The White Wedding Barn is perfect for large receptions, wedding ceremony sites as well as any other large event. Our Historic Commissary is perfect for a small ceremony, rehearsal dinner, or reception. Dutch Ford Farm Wedding and Events venue markets flexibility and originality to its clients. We are not a full-service venue but are open to all vendors. We attract creative brides who want to design their own one-of-a-kind wedding. No two weddings at the farm have been alike. We understand that to achieve this takes work and preparation therefore we rent venue for the week of the event (Wednesday – Sunday) allowing ample time for decorating and set up as well as after event break down. Our clean-up crew handles break down of venue's tables and chairs and cleaning of venues. We impose very few decorating restrictions. Our all-in-one venue allows you to have rehearsal, ceremony and wedding all at one location. No need to fear losing guests in transition. You will not find another venue with as much history, originality or flexibility. We provide an on-site wedding coordinator and additional services may be added such as set-up, design, etc.

Venue Notes

The rental fees begin at $3700 for a reception and ceremony which includes full use of grounds (for ceremony sites as well as ample parking) for 5 day rental. Antebellum Plantation house rental fee of 3 night minimum begins at $1800. Refundable security deposit of $500 - $1000 is required.
