Lutheran Lakeside Camp Overview
Anyone who has ever dreamed of a whimsical outdoor ceremony or a reception on the lake will love Lakeside. Our property has half a mile of gorgeous waterfront overlooking East Okoboji Lake, and several lush, green meadows throughout our site which are perfect for large gatherings! Our Event Center can hold 200 guests for indoor functions, surrounded by decks and large windows, providing a wonderful view of the sunset over the Great Lakes area, and has a bonus room as an indoor back up weather option. Weddings and/or receptions are welcome year round to all individuals- even during the camp season! We want every wedding experience to be relaxing, memorable, and meaningful. We take a proactive approach to make this a reality for our wedding guests. We only book one wedding per weekend, you can have the venue from Friday 3 pm to Sunday at 11 am to ensure enough time to set up, have a rehearsal dinner, take pictures, spend time together, have the joyous event, open gifts, and clean up without a rush. There is room for flexibility if you are interested in only have the ceremony or reception at our venue instead of both. Lodging and retreat spaces can also be found at camp to keep your families and wedding parties together. We have large and small spaces the wedding party can book or guests can book separately so everyone can stay onsite and avoid driving or missing out on any of the night. You can have the space from Friday to Sunday so there's no rushing, you can just relax and enjoy your special celebration of Love. Have your rehearsal dinner and open gifts for no extra fee. Whole Event Center One day 8am to 11:30pm $500 May-Sept or $400 Oct- April Includes: Dining Hall, bonus room/indoor bad weather option, bridal ready room, 4 restrooms, 26 round tables, 9 rectangle tables, 200 chairs and outdoor ceremony space. Upper Event Center 8am to 11:30pm $400 May- Sept or $300 Oct-April Includes: 26 round tables, 4 rectangle tables, 200 chairs, and 2 restrooms Outdoor Ceremony no reception $300 – Includes one day access to outdoor ceremony location, bonus room in event center for bad weather back up, bridal ready room and 2 restrooms. Additional $100 a day to set up early or clean up late.
