The Hay-Adams Overview

Set in downtown Washington, D.C., the Hay Adams Hotel brings classic elegance and charm to your wedding weekend. For the discerning bride who cares about the intentional details, this 1920s-era hotel provides brilliant panoramic views and is a premier venue for rooftop ceremonies. The French doors, vaulted skylights, and large windows set a charming backdrop to carry you from ceremony to reception and the cocktail hour in between. Sip delightfully crafted creations and mingle with your guests as piano notes float out the window towards the Washington Monument, before sitting down to a sumptuous feast created for your event by Chef Nicolas Legret. Other venues of choice include the Concorde Room, an airy Belle Époque setting with hand-painted wallpaper and crystal chandeliers. The Hay-Adams room offers a warm ambiance amid the rich woodworks and period ceiling, making it the perfect place to cozy up around the working gas fireplace with a drink.

Venue Notes

The rental fee is $10,000 for a reception and includes 5 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. There is a food and beverage minimum applied to all events.
