The Oakland Asian Cultural Center (OACC) was founded in 1984 by a coalition of volunteers who recognized the need for a strong artistic and cultural force in the Chinatown area. Since opening its own facility in 1996 in the heart of Oakland’s Chinatown district, the OACC has been a popular venue for events of all types including wedding celebrations. The 15,000 square-foot space includes The Edward W. Chin Auditorium with dark wood paneling and contemporary details that create an ambiance of elegance. Cathedral ceilings that reach a height of 16 feet allow for excellent acoustics and a remarkable space for dancing and entertaining. Whether you are looking to throw an intimate reception or the party of the century, the OACC’s versatile space will be a perfect fit for your dream event.
