Living And Learning Center At Virginia Union University Overview

Virginia Union University was founded in 1865 and provides an ideal setting for your wedding celebration. The beautiful facility has been in operation for just over a year and is available for hosting wedding events. It includes a large banquet/ballroom that can accommodate an array of event sizes. With the two air walls opened, the center is just under 6,000 square feet and also two smaller meeting rooms with just over 600 square feet of space each. After you tie the knot, take advantage of the gorgeous property for your first photos as a married couple. Lush greenery, large trees and beautiful historic architecture create the perfect backdrop for your precious memories. Inside, the general event space is neutral in color, allowing you to transform the space into the wedding of your dreams. Venue Notes

The rental fee is $2,100 for a reception and includes 4 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The set up fee for a ceremony ranges from $500 to $800 with reception rental. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $75/hr.
