Double JJ Resort Overview

Located just outside of Manistee National Forest, the Double JJ Resort offers a lovely ranch-style venue for country-loving couples. Say your “I do’s” on the Maverick Lawn, a lush green space overlooking Carpenter Lake and the golf course. The Back Forty Lawn has a distinctly rustic feel positioned near the Back Forty Dancehall, a historic barn that creates a truly lovely backdrop. The Corporate Corral Lawn allows couples to exchange their vows at the edge of the golf course with a distinctive wagon wheel backdrop. For a more romantic feel, seal the deal in the Sherwood Forest surrounded by towering mature trees. Celebrate your union in one of the Resort’s numerous locations, ranging from upscale to rustic. The Maverick / Wyatt Rooms are elegant banquet halls boasting stunning views of the Maverick Lawn and Carpenter Lake. The sophisticated Sundance offers equally breathtaking vistas through two story windows. For a more old school feel, dance the night away in the Wagon Wheel, a beautiful reception hall complete with exposed beams and wagon wheel window. Couples can also celebrate in the Dancehall, an expansive barn venue complete with wooden walls and floors, as well as large glass barn doors.

Venue Notes

The rental fee ranges from $600 to $1,500 for a reception and includes 12 hours of event time including set up and clean up time. The set up fee for a ceremony ranges from $600 -$1,500 with reception rental or $800 for a ceremony only wedding. Event booking includes access to the 1200 acre resort. Please inquire directly with the venue regarding specific ceremony pricing and spaces.
