The Community House Overview

Nestled right in the heart of Birmingham, Michigan, The Community House offers an extraordinary destination where people come come together to enjoy memorable experiences… including your wedding day! Originally developed in the 1920’s as a non-exclusive community center, this charming place has since become a beautiful place where people join their lives together in matrimony. Whether it’s a pull-out all-the-stops celebration or intimate affair, The Community House can accommodate! Enjoy an elegant affair in the South Main Ballroom, which features a built-in dance floor, three gas fireplaces, and a beautiful attached garden complete with water feature. For an outdoor celebration, enjoy dining beneath an airy tent on the terrace -- also perfect for saying your “I do’s” or sipping on cocktails. To complete your celebration, this venue also offers delicious menu choices that are sure to please each and every one of your guests. Whether you hope to offer a menu brimming with appetizing hors d'oeuvres or numerous celebratory champagne toasts or outstanding house-specialty entrees, The Community House can provide!

Venue Notes

The rental fee ranges from $800 to $1,800 for a reception and includes 7 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. There is a food and beverage minimum applied to all events. The set up fee for a ceremony is $200 with reception rental. Off-season discounts are available, please inquire directly with the venue.
