4 Tips to Balance Work and Wedding Planning
By Wedding Spot
Anyone who has done some wedding planning will tell you that it can quickly become a full time job, which can obviously present an issue when you’re already working full-time. There are some things you can do to help balance work and wedding planning and we rounded a few of them up for you to try.
Try these 4 tips to balance work and wedding planning:
1. Stay organized
Staying organized is essential for any couple planning their wedding, but especially if you’re both working full-time. Having everything ready to go when you do have time to spare will allow you to get things done more efficiently. While a binder is great, it can be a hassle to carry around. Having a digital spreadsheet or similar will allow you to work on the go whenever you have a spare moment.
2. Divide and conquer
Don’t take on all of the planning burden yourself. Make sure that you, your future spouse, and even family members have certain aspects of the wedding that they are in charge of. Dividing and conquering is one of the best ways that you can wedding plan without letting it take over your life.

Take a lunch hour at work? Consider setting aside half of your lunches a week and dedicating them to wedding planning. This can be a great way to knock out some major tasks without eating into your time on the clock. Just make sure you don’t let your planning tasks spill over into company time!
4. Consider all-inclusive venues
You can certainly plan a DIY wedding while working at a full-time job, but it is important to remember that the more decisions you need to make, the more time planning will take. Why worry over what types of chairs, tables, and flowers to choose when you could just get a venue with all of it included? Sometimes all-inclusive options can save you some money too!
