Umlauf Sculpture Garden and Museum Overview

Whether hosting an intimate ceremony or an elaborate affair, the UMLAUF Sculpture Garden + Museum holds historic and romantic charm in the heart of Austin. The Garden offers winding pathways, tranquil ponds, and natural backdrops with celebrated bronze and stone sculptures placed within its landscape. The UMLAUF can accommodate up to 250 guests for a seated dinner. The reception space includes festive lighting, a covered area, and surrounding lawns that can be tented to extend coverage. With its open-air limestone and steel design, the ceremony arbor is ideal for exchanging or viewing wedding vows for up to 200 guests. For couples considering a personal way to celebrate their special day, the UMLAUF offers a daytime Intimate Wedding Ceremony option that includes admission for up to 15 guests (additional guests can be added for a max of 25 people). Venue Notes

The rental fee ranges from $2,200 to $4,950 for a reception and includes 8 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. An additional deposit of $1,000 is required upon contract signing, with the remaining balance due 90 days prior to your big day. The deposit amount is refundable 30-45 days after the event. The fee for a ceremony only wedding can be reduced for events occurring within 30 days.

Requirements

- Alcohol must be served by licensed bartender/caterer- Amplified music OK indoors and outdoors- Approved outside caterer allowed- Art may not be moved, covered or modified in any way- BYO alcohol- Banned Items include, but are not limited to, open flames (candles on tables ok), sparklers, sky lanterns, confetti, bird seed, rice, et al- Music must end by 10:00PM- No rice, birdseed, confetti, etc.- Smoking in designated areas only- Venue must approve all decorations
