STEM Building Overview
An evening of elegance awaits when you host your dream reception in the Atrium of the newly-built New Jersey Center for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Located less than 20 minutes from Newark and just a short ride to the shore, the STEM Atrium is situated on the lovely campus of historic Kean University. The glass-exterior lobby offers stunning views of the campus, and its outdoor porticos offer fantastic photo opportunities for you and your wedding party. As guests enjoy a cocktail surrounded by the floor-to-ceiling windows, you’ll make your grand entrance down an inspiring staircase to greet them as a married couple. The terrazzo floors beg to be danced upon, adding a sophisticated vibe to the occasion. The rental fee ranges from $3,500 to $4,500 for ceremony and reception and includes 5 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. Requirements
- Alcohol must be served by licensed bartender/caterer- Amplified music OK indoors and outdoors- BYO alcohol- Biodegradable throwables are allowed- Choose from a list for catering- General liability insurance required- Music must end by 11:00PM- No candles- No rice, birdseed, confetti, etc.- Smoking in designated areas only- Venue must approve all decorations
