The Buddy Holly Center Overview
The Buddy Holly Center is an exciting and beautiful facility located in the heart of the Depot Entertainment District of Lubbock, Texas. This historical site is an ideal location to gather your loved ones on your wedding day. The Courtyard is open air and features mature shade trees. Home to the most extensive permanent exhibition on the life and music of Buddy Holly, the Center also features a contemporary Fine Arts Gallery and Foyer Gallery. The West Texas Walk of Fame, featuring the Buddy Holly statue, by sculptor Grant Speed, is located inside the Buddy and Maria Elena Holly Plaza, just west of the Center, on the corner of Crickets Avenue and 19th Street. The rental fee is $600 for a ceremony and reception and includes 4 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The fee for a ceremony only wedding is $600. A refundable security deposit of $150 is required. Bar service is provided by Civic Lubbock Inc.
