The Majestic Theatre is an elegantly restored Wisconsin historic landmark & the perfect place to entertain your family and friends while showcasing your unique style! The Majestic Theatre is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Madison, just a block from the Capitol. The theatre first opened in 1906 and is Madison's longest-running theatre. It has been beautifully remodeled and modernized while maintaining the original character of the building, preserving the Neoclassical Revival style of the gold-gilded stage and 1950s style entrance and marquee. The Majestic Theatre is a versatile venue that can be modified to suit any theme. The venue offers a tiered main floor including a spacious bar and lounge, an upper balcony and marquee room, and an elevated stage under the decorative proscenium arch.
