The Z’Tejas Southwestern Grill story begins in Austin, Texas where the first location was born in an old Victorian house on historic 6th Street. The love for this authentic southwestern Mexican restaurant quickly grew and their next location opened in Scottsdale, Arizona. Currently, there are eight Z’Tejas restaurants. Five in Arizona and three in Austin—including the original location on 6th Street. Z’Tejas is known for a rich blend of flavors that people have enjoyed for more than two decades. Owned by Cornbread Ventures, LP, the restaurateurs have more than 25 years’ experience in the industry. They have established a reputation of owning restaurants known for fresh ingredients and scratch kitchens.
