Originally organized in 1890 for the purpose of promoting and supporting civic improvements -- particularly for women, the organization has since become the center of cultural preservation in the community. Hutchins and built in the 1920’s. The clubhouse, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, makes an immediate impression with its warm brick facade, stately columns, and grand portico.
