Located on Chicago’s historic Magnificent Mile, the Chicago Sports Museum is a perfect venue for couples with many out-of-town guests. With more than 15 luxury hotels within walking distance of the venue (it’s also connected to the Ritz-Carlton) and an array of world-class shopping and restaurants just a few floors below on Michigan Avenue, the Sports Museum is the ideal central location for all wedding weekend activities. A typical wedding package includes butler-served hors d'oeuvres, a four-hour bar, a champagne toast and a custom designed wedding cake. Other package features include table linens and napkins, votive candles, personalized menus and a tasting session that up to four people can attend. All catering and alcohol services are provided by the venue. The passed hors d'oeuvres include homegrown classics and international cuisine, such as mac n' cheese, chicken quesadillas and port wine mission fig compote. Some of the more exciting entrees include mixed grills, such as filet mignon and salmon, filet mignon and chicken or filet mignon and crab. There's also a fun selection of dessert stations to choose from, including milkshake stations and chocolate fountains. A sales tax and a service charge are added to all food and beverage purchases.
