Previously known as the Buffalo Gap Historic Village, the Taylor County History Center sits in idyllic Buffalo Gap with an extensive history that spills across the last fifty years of the West Texas frontier. Your guests will enjoy the historic space that blends rich culture with contemporary finishings. Aside from your wedding festivities, your guests can also explore interactive exhibits that detail the transformation from the Wild West to civilized settlements. Unique and fun, Taylor County History Center sets an iconic backdrop fused with your personalized style to create unique memories for both you and your guests as you celebrate the start of your happily-ever-after!
More than just a chapel! We have an historic guest house built in 1879 that works beautifully for weddings, receptions, bachelorette parties, out-of-town guests, and much more! The house sleeps eight (but we don't limit it), has two bathrooms, a gas fire place in the living room, a dining room, and full kitchen complete with washer and dryer. The house is a wonderful reception option to the historic chapel since the two buildings are located next to each other.
