2121 Children's Museum Drive
Denver, CO 80211
The Children's Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus is a 501(c)(3), private non-profit organization and a Tier II SCFD member. Since it first opened in a converted school bus in 1973, they have served the metro-Denver community as the learning institution for young children and their caregivers. In no time, the need for a more permanent location was evident and we leased a renovated building on Bannock Street. Within months, the museum was drawing record numbers of visitors, so they began planning for a larger facility. In 1984, they opened the new building in its present location along the west bank of the Platte River. The museum recently went through a $16.1 million expansion, creating a 9-acre campus and doubling the exhibit space. Several exciting new exhibits were part of our expansion, creating an even more welcoming space. The Children's Museum of Denver sets the stage for an unforgettable wedding day.
