Offering soon-to-be-wed couples a unique wedding venue in Savannah, the Massie Heritage Center artfully combines affordability and charm to create the ideal place to say your “I do’s.” Originally constructed in 1856 on the beautiful Calhoun Square, Massie was once known as the oldest public school in Georgia. In 1974, the center changed its focus. It still revolves around learning, but promotes education about the arts -- even featuring several hands-on exhibits that showcase the rich history and architecture of Savannah. This unique location creates a truly one-of-a-kind backdrop for celebrating your new life together as spouses. Guests will be immediately struck by the building’s unique architecture and pale pink color, both reminiscent of a gentler time. You can celebrate your union in the Heritage Center’s intimate outdoor space, sipping on cocktails and mingling in a courtyard setting surrounded by mature trees, lush foliage, and brick walls. Sparkling lights stretching overhead add an air of whimsical wonder to the space, creating a magical experience on your wedding day!
