The Inn is also known as the Latham House and is a historical home that has since been renovated 28 years ago to serve the community as a bed and breakfast. Since 1989, Dowds' Country Inn & Event Center has grown into a beautiful establishment that boasts 20 vibrant bedrooms and banquet halls that are perfect for weddings large or small. As soon as you walk through the inn's doors, you experience a home away from home atmosphere. The New England architecture makes the space cozy and the lush floral and vegetable gardens are a sight to be enjoyed. The banquet halls are very adaptable in use and style and with a few hints of color and floral arrangements, the space can be transformed to suit your personality. Dowds' Country Inn & Event Center allows you to be the creative mastermind behind your event while the Inn's event staff work to take care of all the details. The rental fee is $500 for a reception of 25 guests or there is a food and beverage minimum for a reception of over 25 guests. The venue allows 12 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The set up fee for a ceremony is included with reception.
