San Diego Botanic Gardens is a unique and versatile place for your wedding celebration. Less than an hour from downtown and boasting 220 beautiful days a year, the charming garden setting is the perfect botanical backdrop for your special day. Imagine a ceremony in the center of the garden. A beautiful large lawn framed by natural borders of flowing plants and mature trees features the Victorian Gazebo, where you’ll exchange vows. Or choose the intimate Walled Garden location, enclosed within a lovely original adobe and tile wall and surrounded by lush ferns and trees. After your magical nuptials, an unforgettable reception unfolds in the Lawn House Garden. The tropical backdrop and soothing sounds of waterfalls create a unique setting for your reception. Dine and dance under the stars as the San Diego Botanic Garden provides a truly memorable experience for the best day of your life.

Venue Notes

The rental fee ranges from $1,300 to $3,800 for a ceremony and reception and includes 5 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $400/hr. A non-refundable security deposit ranges from $200 to $1,000 is required.
