By June 1895, St. John had its first church building and a new pastor. Within thirteen years, the congregation, having grown significantly, voted to build a new house of God. A brick Gothic-style building was constructed at a cost of $12,000 and dedicated on December 13, 1908. The grand church would faithfully serve the needs until 1963, when the last farewell service was held, and worshipers moved to the current sanctuary. In 2003 a capital campaign resulted in construction of Faith Hall, a multipurpose building located behind the existing church building. Faith Hall was completed in 2005, which resulted in a multitude of new opportunities for church fellowship and community outreach. This large, flexible space is ideal for your wedding day. Gather those you love most and experience the joy of a wedding at St. John Evangelical United Church of Christ.
