For a mix of tradition and unconventional, host your special day at the Massillon Recreation Center. As its name implies, it offers a plethora of facilities, making it ideal not only for your wedding day, but a bachelor or bachelorette party, as a place that offers plenty of fun and the opportunity to be a kid one last time. The aquatic center, with its 19-foot water slides, lazy river, and dry sauna, amongst other attractions, is the perfect place for some pre-wedding fun with your best girlfriends. And for the guys, there’s a gymnasium for a good scrimmage of basketball. There are community rooms available for rent, which can accommodate intimate receptions. For larger events, a rental of the entire facility is possible. If you desire an outdoor ceremony, the recreation center offers a multitude of beautiful parks with pavilions. And, even if you’re opting for indoors, the surrounding nature still provides idyllic backdrops for some dreamy photographs to preserve your special day.
