Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture Overview

Located on the San Francisco Bay and within a National Park, Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture is an ideal venue for any wedding. We have a variety of spaces to meet your budget and style. The spaces include the newly renovated industrial chic Gallery 308, the elegant and traditional General’s Residence, the intimate and industrial Firehouse or Artist Gallery, and a mission style Chapel. This historic campus has a space for any couple. GALLERY 308: With sweeping views of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco Bay and an industrial aesthetic, the recently renovated Gallery 308 is our newest space on campus. Gallery 308 is the ideal location for the creative Bay Area couple. GENERAL'S RESIDENCE: The General’s Residence is a romantic and private location for your special day. Enjoy breathtaking views of the San Francisco Bay, Aquatic Park and Alcatraz. The backyard serves as an ideal ceremony location while the indoors feature floor to ceiling windows overlooking the bay. FIREHOUSE: The Firehouse is a charming event space situated on the edge of the San Francisco Bay. The windows at The Firehouse overlook the bay waters and the adjacent patios feature unparalleled views of Angel Island and Alcatraz.

Venue Notes

The rental fees vary based on the chosen venues. Gallery 308 and the General's Residence are booked in 10 hour time blocks and range from $5,500 - $12,100 depending on the space and day of the week. The Firehouse has full and half day options and range from $1,760 - $5,500 depending on the length of booking and day of the week. We do charge a 10% historical preservation fee on all venue rentals. The revenue from this goes back into preserving the campus as a National Historic Landmark. There are additional fees for permits and equipment based on the needs for each event. Tables and chairs are included in the rental of all of our spaces.

Requirements

- A permit is required for all events serving alcohol- A permit is required for any open flame (candles, cooking, sterno, etc.)- A permit is required for events with 200+ people- Alcohol must be served by licensed bartender/caterer- Amplified music OK indoors only- Approved outside caterer allowed- BYO alcohol- General liability insurance required- Music must end by 11:00PM- No rice, birdseed, confetti, etc.- Smoking in designated areas only- Venue must approve all decorations
