Aptly named, Takami is a sky-high sushi restaurant that hovers 21 stories over Downtown LA’s Financial District. Wraparound floor to ceiling windows flaunt uninterrupted panoramic vistas of skyscrapers—but this is more than just sushi with a view. The restaurant offers two semi-private hosting options, including a lounge area for casual mingling or a portion of their dining room for a more formal dining environment. You also have the option to book a fully private area, removed from the dining room, that can accommodate up to 150 guests. Once your party has settled in for dinner, you can enjoy a four or five course meal, including Japanese robata-style dishes, handcrafted sushi and specialty dessert. After dinner, keep the celebration going and lead your entourage to the adjacent Elevate Lounge for drinks and dancing, the ultimate after-party spot. From one aerial site to another, the Elevate Lounge is the perfect place to party and enjoy even more cityscape scenery. Buyout the entire lounge for large parties, or use the modular wall within to splice the space to fit your specific needs. The lounge is highly customizable, offering a personalized lighting scheme, modular furniture, and LCD screens throughout the space available for slideshows, video or custom logos and monograms.
