The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) is the nation’s first art museum and school of fine arts. Whether you prefer an elegant historic landmark or a lofty contemporary space, at PAFA, you can host both your ceremony and reception midst one of the best international collections of American art in one of Philadelphia’s architectural treasures. The newly renovated Samuel M.V. Hamilton Building offers a contemporary space in the heart of the city. Hold a ceremony in the lobby area. The entire second floor houses four galleries and is very large and open. Guests can enjoy a cocktail hour in the area overlooking the lobby. Once cocktail hour ends, guests will make their way through pocket doors into another gallery where everyone will enjoy dinner and dancing. The Historic Landmark Building offers a gracious and elegant setting for your wedding. Use the landing of the grand staircase as a gorgeous ceremony location. From there enjoy cocktails, dinner and dancing in the building’s Washington Foyer and Rotunda.
