The Chase Palm Park Center Overview

The breathtaking scenery and comfortable Mediterranean climate make the City of Santa Barbara an ideal place to celebrate your wedding. The Chase Palm Park Center is a hidden jewel located on the ocean side of Cabrillo Boulevard opposite the antique carousel in Chase Palm Park. The expansive grassy area that separates the building from the sand can be used for a picturesque ocean-side ceremony. Or you may choose to invite guests to witness your exchange of vows amidst the beautiful gently rolling hills of Chase Palm Park’s Great Meadow. You also have the option to pledge your love for one each other under the open-air rotunda of Chase Palm Park’s Pavilion. Hold a classic, alfresco reception using either the Great Meadow or Pavilion locations. Should you want an indoor reception, guests can make their way inside the nearby park Center. A Spanish-style entryway leads into a contemporary main room with carpeting, recessed sconce lighting and marine-themed art. Adjacent to the main dining room is a small sunroom with French doors that open onto an outdoor, semi-circular, concrete patio. The sunroom and patio are ideal locations for a lounge area and cocktail hour. For your reception these spaces can also be utilized for viewing the gorgeous sunset or for dancing under the stars.

Venue Notes

The rental fee ranges from $1,184 to $2,022 for a ceremony and reception and includes 8 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The rates featured on Wedding Spot are City of Santa Barbara resident rates. Ceremony chairs are included if the ceremony is held on the patio. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $152/hr. A non-refundable $250 reservation fee and $300 refundable security deposit is required. A staffing fee of $135 and equipment set up fee of $100 is required for all wedding bookings.
