The center of a transit hub connecting all of San Francisco's neighborhoods and the surrounding bay communities, the San Francisco Ferry Building is an iconic gem in the City by the Bay. For a dynamic, modern wedding begin your big day with an impressive ceremony in the Nave. The dramatic heart of this building, the Nave boasts an expansive historic marble mosaic floor, buff brick and terra cotta arches, monumental crossed lattice and clerestory windows, and steel arched trusses, all topped by a 660-foot long skylight flooding the space with natural light. Your guests will stand speechless as you say your “I Do’s” with the one you love in this open and airy European setting. Following the ceremony, treat your friends and family to a classically elegant cocktail reception, while the Nave is transformed into a reception fit for Royalty. The atmosphere is kept intimate and inviting as your guests dine and dance under the stars and above a striking floor mosaic of the Great Seal of the State of California. This enchanting building, seemingly worlds away, is the perfect space to play host to your dream wedding.

Venue Notes

The rental fee ranges from $5,000 to $12,500 for ceremony and reception and includes 5.5-6 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. For a ceremony only wedding, please contact the venue directly for the applicable rates. A refundable security deposit of $2,000 is also required. For all wedding bookings, a day-of wedding planner is required. Paula LeDuc Fine Catering is this venue's exclusive caterer and the catering rates starting at $425 per person.
