Midway Village Museum Overview

Truly the most unique, rustic venue in Rockford and the surrounding area. Beautiful, wooded 150 acre campus that offers endless options for indoor and outdoor weddings. Two areas for receptions, including the Lakeview rooms at the main museum center with outdoor patio and seating for up to 200 guests. For the rustic nature lovers, we offer a restored, two-story 1905 barn with soaring ceilings, private restrooms, custom bar and elevator. The barn is nestled on a 13 acre Victorian village that offers privacy and plenty of outdoor space for enjoyment. Say "I do" in one of our gorgeous gardens, the gazebo, the church or lakeside by the Millhouse. Wedding package price includes both your choice of ceremony spot and your choice of reception location. The two reception venues offered are on opposite ends of the property so our couples feel complete seclusion on their most special day. Rain backup locations for inclement weather included and we partner with eight local caterers to provide all your food service needs.
