Built in the 1920s, the historic Temple Emanu-El facility in San Francisco caters to Jewish wedding ceremonies. Inspired by the Haggia Sophia in Istanbul, the building is a grand and classic piece of architecture. The arches, red-tiled roof and 150-foot tall dome make the structure recognizable. Filled with vibrant colors, tiled-mosaics and fountains, the building has plenty of airy space to offer inside and tree-lined courtyards also showcase the beauty outside. Each room, from the arched entryways with marble columns to the decorative stained-glass window designs, is perfect for a traditional, storybook wedding. Categorized by Mediterranean influences, the event space is gorgeous the whole way through, from the main sanctuary to the Reuben Rinder Chapel.
