SMILE Station Overview
The newly remodeled SMILE Station, originally a firehouse, was built in 1926. The Toy and Joy Maker program got its start in this building. In 1959, the Old Engine 20 building began its second career as a clubhouse for the Boys and Girls Club. When that group vacated, it was purchased from the city and renovated for its present use. Affiliated with the Oaks Pioneer Church, the SMILE Station is a fantastic place to host your wedding reception. The SMILE Station is a first class facility with a baby grand piano that you may use for live entertainment during your celebration. The fireplace will add to the warm and inviting setting of the familial atmosphere. Your caterers can make use of the commercial kitchen in preparing to provide you with delicious food. The venue accommodates round table seating for 60 with capacity for 100 guests.Venue Notes
The rental fee is $450 for a reception and includes 4 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $100/hr. A refundable security deposit of $150 is required. Please note this is a beer and wine only venue.Amenities And Requirements
