The Woodlands Resort Overview

The Woodlands Resort is nestled in the picturesque forest of The Woodlands just north of Houston, Texas. This enchanting location – combined with exquisite cuisine, gracious service and attention to detail – makes The Woodlands Resort perfect for your unforgettable wedding celebration. Whether you dream of a lavish formal reception enjoyed by hundreds or an intimate gathering of your closest family and friends, the Resort’s beautifully outfitted event venues will set just the right stage for your wedding. Located within 28,000 acres of natural forest, the space offers options from a lakeside terrace to a glass-enclosed ballroom that provides picture-perfect settings for wedding celebrations. In all, the Resort offers more than 60,000 square feet of event space across 33 flexible rooms, many with views of glistening lakes, lush fairways and woodlands. Outdoor terraces of various sizes including the expansive Forest Deck, the Wharf Terrace, and the Sunset Terrace, all overlook gorgeous Lake Harrison and offer a celebration with stunning water features and the surrounding forest. Finally, the Emerald Ballroom, a glass-enclosed venue overlooking the Forest Deck and Lake Harrison, is a gorgeous, unforgettable spot for your reception.

Venue Notes

There is no rental fee for the reception but there is a food and beverage minimum applied to all events. The venue allows 4 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The fee for a wedding ceremony is $2,500 with reception booking. Please inquire with venue for details and pricing to purchase additional hours.
