Fremont Abbey Overview
Fremont Abbey was built in 1914 and reopened in 2008 after undergoing major improvements. The historic building is a beautiful and welcoming two floor venue with a comfortable, warm, and vintage style that is the perfect choice for your creative event. As of 2023, we have installed brand new HVAC system with air filtration and air-conditioning to our main upstairs hall. The civic-minded couple will be delighted to hold their wedding at Fremont Abbey as the private event rentals help sustain arts programs for thousands of people in need each year. Our building also participates in many environmentally friendly practices such as efficient lighting, heating, composting, green cleaning supplies, and other re-use of building materials to prevent adding to landfills. The Abbey's Great Hall is a magnificent location for your ceremony, reception or both. The vaulted ceilings are accented by dark wood beams and large, artful stained glass windows allow abundant natural light to flow in. The "barn wood" style hardwood floors are ideal for a night of dancing and the cream walls allow the artwork or decorations that you choose to truly express your unique style. The Gallery downstairs has a more cozy feel and can be used for cocktail hour or even a family zone with fun and games. Abbey staff can provide you with a variety of Creative support services such as live bands, musicians, singers, visual artists, designers, coordinators, event staffing and more.Venue Notes
The rental fee ranges from ~$1,800 to $3,500 for a ceremony and reception including sound system and other equipment. Cost varies depending on date, time, and use. The venue is not available on Sundays. A refundable security deposit is required. Off-list catering fee is typically $200.Amenities And Requirements
