Perched atop Donner Summit on Sugar Bowl Road in Norden, the Sugar Bowl Resort lies within the Sierra Nevada Mountain range and offers brides and grooms a scenic mountain setting to share vows. Positioned northwest of Sacramento within the Tahoe National Forest, this venue is an ideal setting for the union of two outdoor enthusiasts. Primarily used as a luxury ski resort throughout the season, the Sugar Bowl Resort presents a lovely climate for a destination summer wedding. Equipped with a creative blend of indoor and outdoor spaces to tie the knot, this venue features a spacious Sun Deck as the premier setting for breathtaking mountain views. Imagine saying ‘I do’ surrounded by crisp mountain air with snowcapped peaks along the horizon. The perfect backdrop for captivating wedding day photos, this venue is sure to impress your wedding day guests. Best suited for small to medium sized guests lists, the Sugar Bowl Resort is the perfect setting to tie the knot with all your closest family and friends.Venue Notes
The rental fee ranges from $3,750 to $4,500 for a ceremony and reception and includes 6 hours for the reception and 1 hour for the ceremony, excluding set up and clean up time. The site fee includes exclusive use of the Village Lodge from Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. to Sunday at noon. The Village Lodge can accommodate up to 300 guests outdoors and 140 guests indoors. Overnight accommodations are not included in the rental fee. There is a minimum of 100 guests. However, we can accommodate fewer than 100 guests at an additional charge of your menu price for each number under the 100 requirement. Custom menus are available. There are additional offerings for weddings on property for an additional fee.Amenities And Requirements
