The Moody Mansion Overview
Restored to its turn of the century splendor, this 28,000 square-foot, four-story structure was completed in 1895. Today, guests visit 20 rooms on a tour that depicts the home life of a powerful Texas family. The Moodys established one of the great American financial empires. Based on cotton, it grew to include banking, ranching, insurance and hotels. Your guests will love experiencing The Moody Mansion for your wedding celebration. The formal ballroom is a memorable venue. With rich wooden tones, an atmosphere of elegance, warmth and love is created in this space. Less formal space is on the ground level in the new garage exhibit area. With ample room outside for tables and tents, the Mansion is perfect for an outdoor setting. The grounds create a picturesque backdrop for bridal photographs and all your special wedding day moments. The rental fee ranges from $1,750 to $3,000 for a ceremony and reception and includes 5 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. . A refundable security deposit of 20% of the total is required. Please inquire with the event coordinator .Amenities And Requirements

Requirements
- Alcohol must be provided by venue- Amplified music OK indoors and outdoors- Approved outside caterer allowed- BYO alcohol- Music must end by 10:00PM- No rice, birdseed, confetti, etc.- No smoking- Venue must approve all decorations
