Situated in the heart of Dayton on East First Street, Memorial Hall offers an affordable yet extravagant venue for an upscale wedding. Designed by two local architects, this French Renaissance style building was dedicated to the city’s soldiers that served in the Civil and Spanish-American Wars. The entrance atrium makes for an epic ceremony setting with its soaring ceilings, green tinted skylights, grand marble staircase, and shining columns. The ornate decor lends an even more remarkable appearance to this space with its bronze plaques, relief sculptures, and dramatic paintings. The lower level is the ideal setting for a reception with a more modern look, including plain columns, an expansive wooden dance floor and a neutral color palette that is conducive to personalized decorating.
