Packard Proving Grounds Overview
Storybook romance meets rustic, industrial charm at the Packard Proving Grounds for an ideal, one-of-a-kind wedding celebration. The local automotive history site sits atop 17 acres of green lawns and impressive tree lined boulevards, which accentuate the charming buildings with original slate roofs expertly designed by Albert Kahn. Inside the architectural masterpiece, couples may choose to host their ceremony and/or reception in the Lodge Garage with its antique glass garage doors, cement floors, and natural lighting. String holiday lights from the rafters for a warm glow, or request to display up to three classic Packard automobiles as a unique picture backdrop. Instead of the industrial, lounge-like atmosphere of the garage, couples may opt to walk the grassy aisle of a tree-lined boulevard outside, exchange vows under a large black iron gate, or dance the night away in the paved center courtyard. The rental fee cost is $6,000 for a 6 hr minimum on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays. The Ceremony and Reception includes - 6 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $500/hr. For the weekdays (Monday-Thursday) rental fee is $500/hr., there is a 2 hour minimum. There is a $500 non refundable deposit to hold your date, and that amount goes towards the total balance which is due at 90 days prior to the wedding date. A refundable security deposit of $300 is required.Amenities And Requirements

- Alcohol must be served by licensed bartender/caterer- Amplified music OK indoors and outdoors- Approved outside caterer allowed- BYO alcohol- General liability insurance required- Music must end by 11:30PM- No rice, birdseed, confetti, etc.- Smoking outside only- Venue must approve all decorations- Wedding coordinator required
