Crest Theatre Overview
The Crest Theatre is a historic theater located in downtown Sacramento, California, just blocks from the State Capital and other Northern California attractions. This historic venue is available for your wedding day. It was originally opened in 1912 as the Empress Theatre and has undergone multiple renovation processes. The theater is currently undergoing a modernization project that includes conversion of the basement screening rooms into an on-site full service restaurant (Empress Tavern) and structural upgrades to support sound and lighting systems. The theater retains its ability to showcase 35mm film, and remains operational during this on-going project, hosting successful and beautiful weddings. This venue is filled with excitement and grand decor from the time you arrive at its colorful entrance. The high ceilings and elegant lighting create a theatrical ambiance for your special day. The rental fee is $1,600 for a ceremony and reception and may vary for additional services provided by the venue. The rental includes 6 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time.
