Mt. Tabor Summit Overview
For the adventurous couple, host your outdoor wedding at Mt. Tabor Summit, a huge dormant volcano. The summit is a grassy oval space, perfect to put up a flower covered awning for your wedding ceremony, or a huge tent for your reception. The park staff will help you create the wedding of your dreams at the Summit. Imagine the beautiful pictures taken of you and your loved ones standing on the tip of the dormant volcano with the sun setting behind you. With endless views of Portland lying behind, you will feel as though you are on top of the world. Surrounded by douglas-fir trees and views that stretch for miles, your wedding will be effortlessly romantic and inspired by nature. For a casual affair, your guests can explore and hike through Mt. Tabor park, view the breathtaking cinder cone, and even climb through it. There are many different hiking trails, in which your guests can stroll and view all of the beauty of nature.Venue Notes
The rental fee is $294 for a ceremony and reception and includes 16 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. Same rental fees apply for a ceremony only wedding.
