Located south of downtown Chicago inside scenic Hyde Park, this venue lies just steps from the water and provides couples with an elegant blend of indoor and outdoor spaces to tie the knot. Equipped with several open-air verandas, every space with Promontory Point is sure to dazzle and delight your wedding day guest. Constructed in the early 1930s, this venue was once the a prominent local landmark during early settlement of the Chicago area. Renovated and restored to the original grandeur, Promontory Point features elegant French doors, tasteful decor, and touches of charm every direction you turn. Whether you prefer to share your vows along the sparkling lake waters or beneath a beautiful chandelier in a light filled room, Promontory Point is sure to leave lasting memories in your heart.Venue Notes
The rental fee for a 4 hour package is $1,205 for a ceremony and reception and includes 8 hours of event time including set up and clean up time. Please inquire with venue for the 8 hour, 10 hour, and ceremony only wedding packages. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $225/hr. A refundable security deposit of $500 is required. Please note, an onsite manager is present from set-up to the start of the event. In addition, there is a $400 personnel fee and $35 application fee charged per event. Venue does not do guided tours, feel free to visit park during hours of operation.Amenities And Requirements
