Heathcote Botanical Gardens Overview

Host a tropical, fairytale wedding at Heathcote’s Botanical Gardens. The Garden is perfect for those looking for naturally beautiful venues that are unique and charming. Imagine saying your “I-do’s” in a romantic paradise surrounded by the beauty and fragrance of flora and fauna, with up to 200 of your closest family and friends joining your celebration. To extend the whimsical garden effect of your Big Day, your guests are encouraged to blow bubbles or release butterflies in celebration of your special day. One garden of many offered, the Butterfly Garden is a picturesque area for you to host your ceremony or cocktail hour. An arbor trellis covered with Dutchman’s Pipe marks one end of the curved path that meanders through the Butterfly Garden. At times the vine is covered with Pipevine Swallowtail butterflies. The Butterfly Garden contains over 35 species of plants selected to attract butterflies. Plan a warm, sunny, summertime wedding at the Butterfly Garden to celebrate your love with the surrounding beauty of life and hope – the symbol of the butterfly. For a larger, outdoor tent wedding, consider the Main Lawn. A swathe of emerald lawn offers a gathering place in the middle of the Gardens, and your white wedding dress will shimmer against the backdrop of live oaks and vibrant flowerbeds. Paths lead off in all directions to other garden rooms – perfect for memorable and romantic wedding photos! Relax on a bench at the edge of the lawn and take everything in…you’ve just been married in paradise.

Venue Notes

The rental fee ranges from $600 to $1,175 for a ceremony and reception and includes 6 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The fee for a ceremony-only wedding with no reception ranges from $300 to $500. A refundable security deposit of $100 is required.
