Celebrate your nuptials in a historical setting that will bless your marriage with the same longevity that marks its existence – Old Davie School. Originally built in 1918, the Old Davie School house is the oldest permanent school in Broward County. The beautiful historic campus is a perfect place to host your wedding celebration. The newly completed Amphitheater is a picturesque setting for a heartfelt outdoor ceremony. The backdrop of natural everglades landscape and the shade of large Jambolyn Plum trees make for a beautiful setting to say “I do,” in front of guests. Following the ceremony guests can enjoy cocktail hour under the school’s authentic Seminole Chickee Hut. The open air, thatched roof venue also provides a unique alternative for your ceremony. Meanwhile you can enjoy a quiet moment together and pose for photographs. Many settings are available for portraits throughout the school and 10-acre property. After cocktail hour, the festivities continue with dinner and dancing in the schoolhouse museum’s auditorium. The Old Davie School staff is dedicated to making your special day and event to remember.
