The Bohemian National Hall is a highlight of Cleveland’s rich cultural history and has been a cornerstone in the local community since its founding. Built by Czech immigrants in 1896, this National Register for Historic Places building is a picturesque setting for any wedding ceremony or reception. After admiring the sturdy masonry work and elaborate window trimmings of the exterior, guests ascend the grand staircase, adorned with original wood and ironwork railings, to enter the ballroom. Reminiscent of the Victorian period in which it was built, the ballroom features towering, tin-tiled ceilings, an ornately gilded chandelier, handsome hardwood floors, and the original balconies and stage. A perfect backdrop for a ceremony or photos, the beautifully restored balconies and proscenium arch of the stage exude the romance and elegance of a bygone era. This stately ballroom allows up to 250 guests to revel the night away. Looking to extend the evening? The Hall features a turn-of-the-century bar that, in keeping with its Victorian roots, features an attractive wooden bar and wood paneling throughout the room. Not only is the Bohemian National Hall a uniquely regal venue for your wedding ceremony or reception, it is also located just half a mile from Interstate 77, making it a convenient choice for your guests, as well.
