With a history that dates back to the pioneering times of the 1880s, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church is the perfect wedding venue for the couple looking to honor old and new traditions. This architecturally unique building stands as a tribute to the local community’s efforts to establish a church in Steamboat Springs. The original church structure was built in 1913 after successful community efforts to raise funds for the construction. In 2002, a new building was built that expanded the original stone building to increase space for the growing number of congregation members and to add a new school. The contrast of architectural styles in this building combines tradition with the modern and makes for a unique setting for your big day. Say your “I do’s” in the presence of family and friends inside the beautifully modern parish hall. The stark white walls of the parish hall are contrasted with sections of original stone and woodwork from the old building, creating an elegantly simple setting for your ceremony. Once you’re officially man and wife, join the rest of the bridal party for photos outside. The older portions of the building are perfect backdrops for memorable photos you can enjoy for years to come.
