Are you in search of a wedding venue that combines elegant style with historic significance? Then The Bishop’s House is the place for you. The home was built in 1889 and served as the living quarters for the Episcopal Bishops of Idaho. Boasted as Boise’s treasured Victorian home, The Bishop’s House provides serene and picturesque settings for wedding ceremonies and photos. The Queen Anne style home features original woodworking details throughout the house and period-appropriate furnishings to give the allusion of stepping back in time. One the second floor of this home are rooms dedicated for the Bride and Groom. Brides can prepare for their big day in a room held within the turret of the home. This unique, partially curved room features feminine touches like floral wallpaper, lace curtains, and a delicate chandelier. The Groom’s Room features a more masculine feel with striped wallpaper and period chairs, ideal for calming nerves prior to the ceremony. In addition to the stately home, the property also features a beautifully manicured garden complete with gazebo that serves as an enchanting location for exchanging vows. Say your “I do’s” in front of family and friends in the breathtaking setting that is The Bishop’s House.
