The University of Oklahoma Memorial Union, at the heart of the University of Oklahoma campus, features over 25,000 square feet of space for an intimate or large wedding. The second floor Beaird Lounge hosts up to 200 guests in its 5,311 square feet of space. Named for Ted Beaird, the first director of the Oklahoma Memorial Union, the Beaird Lounge offers a comfortable, yet formal area to hold your lovely, quaint wedding. It gives off university party vibes and is lit with soft glows by the vintage lamps hanging from the ceilings and torch lamps mounted on the pillars throughout the space. The carpeted floors, stuffed armchairs and sofas, and the brick fireplace all make this lovely room all the more cozy and the perfect place for an elegant cocktail hour. The large windows let in lots of natural light into this spacious venue.
