For more than four decades, The Theatre in the Park has been entertaining audiences, both young and old, and has introduced thousands of Kansas City residents to live theatre. The decorative Pavilion is located adjacent to the Theatre and the perfect venue for your special day. This beautiful Pavilion, completed in the summer of 2010, features a limestone fireplace, a fire pit, and ample space for a breathtaking outdoor wedding. Seats up to 225 guests on the quaint, adorable picnic tables or fill up the sprawling green with more seating to accommodate more guests. The unique, contemporary architectural design of the Pavilion makes for an original, unique venue and your guests will marvel as they walk up to the Pavilion, against a backdrop of impossibly blue sky and towering trees. The desert resort-like design of the facilities gives an edge to the elegance of the structure and the surrounding meadows stretched out all around the perimeter makes for a lovely spot to have an outdoor wedding amongst the trees.
