Irish American Heritage Center Overview

The Irish American Heritage Center is a hidden gem conveniently located on the city’s northwest side in a renovated, turn-of-the-century building that sprawls across a full city block. The IAHC is the perfect venue for any type of meeting, social event or group celebration as it boasts a 658-seat theatre, library, museum, art gallery, an authentic Irish pub, an elegant ballroom, smaller classrooms and so much more. Our rooms are available for both daily and hourly rentals and we offer free parking located on both the north and south sides of our building. The Erin Ballroom is located on the fourth floor; it stands on a private floor featuring a private bar, large windows and crystal chandeliers. This extraordinary space can be easily accessed through both our elevator and staircases and is the perfect spot for your wedding, benefit, anniversary or concert. The Fifth Province Hall is located on the first floor and is enriched with elegant architectural details including high ceilings and wooden accents. This is one of our more popular rooms for a traditional Irish Wedding. The Ceili #111 and Shanachie Rooms #109 are located on the first floor of the IAHC and are perfect locations for family parties, fundraisers, dance classes and close-knit party. The McGinty Room #309 is located on the third floor, with a bit of an Irish charm. It includes its own built in bar and a stage for entertainment. This room is the perfect choice for your next family event. Room #311 is an elegant space located on the third floor featuring lavish details and high ceilings, which allow the natural light to shine in. Rooms #302,302 and 304 are located on the third floor, perfect for small seminars, group or civic meetings, music or dance classes. The Auditorium is a 658-seat theatre ideal for your next concert, movie showing, plays, dance show or recital.
