Lamborn Farm Overview

Lamborn Farm has been a family owned and operated for five generations. Our homestead is on the National and Kansas State Register of Historic Places. In 2010, we started the restoration process on our early 1900's barn and started hosting weddings in 2012. The wedding ceremonies are held on a hillside overlooking our pond, with church pews for seating and barn doors for an entrance. We have a wagon that takes down guests who would like a ride to and from the ceremony site and we have a covered wagon that takes down the bride and or bridal party, if they so choose. The receptions are held in our two story barn, with the upstairs generally holding the DJ, dancing, cake and dessert tables, canned beverages and tables and chairs for two hundred guests. The downstairs, which has a recently installed wooden floor and bar, usually holds the gift tables, the dinner buffet, and the restrooms are located downstairs as well. There is also a bridal and groom's room for the wedding party to get dressed and ready inside the barn. We have a commercial kitchen as well to help with the cater or just to keep ice, flowers, cake and whatnot cool until needed. We allow outside food and alcohol to be brought in.

Venue Notes

The rental fee is $2,200 for the weekend, includes everything above and the barn is available for set up starting at noon on Friday until noon on Sunday. The fee for a ceremony is $500. Accommodations are available for an additional fee.
