Rockhurst Farm’s early history includes a site of Creek Indian village and a Civil War encampment. Purchased in 1992 by Nona and John Hurst, Rockhurst Farm was developed as Treasured Forest, meeting requirements for registration. This picturesque farm is also used as an apiary and produces honey on its grounds, perfect for wedding favors. The 350 acre farm is also used as a horse facility and limited pasture boarding. Hay production is a huge part of the farm’s operations. Use the bales of hay produced on-site as seats during your outdoor wedding ceremony for a rustic touch. The wooden farm pavilion with high ceilings was built in 2013 by John Trott and designed by Tent Shop Design. Its unique design and geometric wooden beams make for a lovely site for a reception or intimate cocktail party. The original iron-wrought chandelier lighting looks stunning at night. Fulfill your dreams of an outdoor wedding and say your vows under the centuries old oak tree overlooking the beautiful field on the property.
