Situated on approximately 50 acres in a plantation-like setting, the facility on Wildfair Road is considered an Albany landmark. The Potter Community Center property was donated to the Foundation by the center's board of trustees. Originally constructed for use during field trials, horse shows, dog shows and social events, the center has expanded its services to include weddings and receptions. The Center consists of three large rooms and an open patio. The front Potter Room, Connie Mellon Room, Sunroom and the patio all provide flexible options to accommodate your specific party size. A screened picnic pavilion, named the Bruner Picnic Pavilion is equipped with lights, electrical outlets, ceiling fans, and 2 large serving counters. Picnic tables in the pavilion can seat a large amount of guests for plenty of room to dine and dance. Enjoy the lush greenery that surrounds the elegant property and relish in the best day of your life at the Potter Community Center.
